Water-Soluble Borate Powder

Tim-Bor® Professional Insecticide and Fungicide is a water-soluble borate powder that acts as a wood preservative, fungicide and insecticide to control and prevent wood decay fungi, subterranean and drywood termites, wood boring beetles, carpenter ants and other listed pests.

Tim-Bor can be dusted into termite galleries to kill termites in as little as seven days. It can also be applied as a 15% liquid solution to new construction or any bare wood to preserve it. Like all borate treatments, exterior surfaces should be protected with one of our Lifeline exterior finish systems. Tim-Bor stays near the surface of treated materials and we recommend that it be reapplied if the finish system is physically or chemically removed.
